The city lights fade in the distance, Leaving the moon to illuminate the road ahead. Cool wind stirs the grass and trees into motion, While the scent of rain fills the air. Gentle droplets begin to pour down, Mixing with her bittersweet tears. She is leaving all that is familiar behind, In hopes of finding something better. My perception is clearer now Than it has ever been before. My path, while not an easy one to follow, Is the one I have chosen for myself. Brief Update. (Riiiiiiight...)

Hey folks, that's right... I am still around, if busy... With my new job among other things (GAH! Just 2 weeks before my A.C.T.!), I haven't had much time to haunt DA like I did before... Well actually, as most people know, I haven't been online a lot at all recently... One of my games at ItsYourTurn.com even timed out because I was away too long. :tears: This is just a quick update letting folks know I WILL be back soon... I spent the night working on the ever-talented lenzamoon (https://www.deviantart.com/lenzamoon)'s website, having a long phone conversation with my friend LittleLostSoul73 (https://www.deviantart.com/littlelostsoul73), and then revising a number of my poems I've been meaning to work on. The good news is that I've revised 3 poems, nearly completed the website, and have worked out where I'll be going on my next vacation. :D And more good news! I'm going to be called with my possible work schedule tomorrow. Yes yes, that means... If I'm interpreting everything correctly... I just landed myself a job! :w00t: Heck yeah! Working behind the scenes.

I'm sure some of you have noticed that I've been rather quiet besides the ocassional submission from me... None of which has been any of the major stuff I've been working on. :laughing: Studying (both educational and personal pursuits) has been taking up most of my time lately. I still do my work at PoetryCafe and get around to some of the more urgent/immediate things I feel I need to address around DA, but I haven't had the time to do everything. My backlog grows...
